COLPOFER at the 20th UIC World Security Congress in Rabat

COLPOFER, a special group of the International Union of Railways (UIC), participated in the 20th UIC World Security Congress held in Rabat.

During the event, we shared insights on the importance of strong international cooperation in railway security and highlighted how COLPOFER’s collaborative approach contributes to safer rail networks worldwide. Our presentation aimed to inspire dialogue and reinforce the value of working together to address evolving security challenges in the railway sector.

1st COLPOFER - RAILPOL Symposium - Brussels & London - 24 October 2024

The great success of the 1^st COLPOFER – RAILPOL Symposium paved the way for future grounds of collaboration which have been already set out in the COLPOFER – RAILPOL Agreement, undersigned on 14^th  December 2022, especially with regard to the organization of joint exercises with the aim of constantly enhancing synergy and cooperation in the public-private partnership sphere.

77th COLPOFER General Assembly - Riga - 30 and 31 May 2024

The 77th COLPOFER General Assembly was kindly hosted in Riga by LDz (Latvian State Railways) and was titled "Challenges for the railways as a critical infrastructure company in the current geopolitical situation". An interesting technical visit to the RAILBALTICA site was also included on the program.

76th COLPOFER General Assembly - Budapest - 23 and 24 November 2023

The 76th COLPOFER General Assembly took place on 23-24 November 2023 kindly hosted in Budapest by MAV START (Hungarian Railways) and was titled "Railway security in transit countries and in major events".
